The Cary Pop Warner Football & Cheerleading program was established in 1968 by The Cary Booster Club, Inc. and is a member of the National Pop Warner Little Scholars Organization. Pop Warner Little Scholars has over 375,000 participants across the country and is the only youth sports program that requires scholastic achievement as a condition of participation.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Cary Pop Warner Football & Cheerleading receives no public funding.

Each year we face rising costs for our primary expenses, which are facilities, equipment, insurance and post season travel. Our expenses in these areas continue to rise approximately 20% annually, primarily due to facility usage costs or capital investment requirements.

Even with the cost increases, we have been able to expand our policy of participation scholarships for economically challenged families to more than 25 families. We will never turn down a child that wants to play football or cheer. We have been able to accomplish this through the fundraising efforts of our member families and strong Sponsorship level support from area businesses.

Sponsors are essential to the survival of our program!

Fundraising within the Cary Pop Warner organization is needed to support the operating expenses of maintaining a large youth athletic and academic program. As an organization we average 300 to 375 participants per season. We are not a component of the Town of Cary other then our namesake, thus our resources and facilities are always limited. Participant registration fees are our primary source of revenue.

We have a variety of donor and sponsorship packages to fit your company’s level of commitment and advertising needs. For as little as $50, your business can advertise in our CPW Yearbook. Arrangements can be made for equal credit value for approved donated merchandise or services. Packages can range from corporate donor CPW Yearbook advertising to team sponsorships, event sponsorships and field naming rights.

1. Your company’s sponsorship will help Cary Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading continue to provide a high quality, safe and organized youth sports program for Cary and the surrounding community.

3. Your company name and logo will be advertised at games on a large 3’x5’ vinyl banner.
4. Your company’s sponsorship and product/services will be promoted by our game announcer before, during and after each sponsored team game, and once at all other games. These in-game promotions will help raise awareness of your company among hundreds of Cary residents and visiting teams’ fans.
5. Your company will be advertised in our popular CPW Yearbook, which will be sold to our participant families.
6. Your company will be advertised on the front page of our popular CPW Web site, seen by thousands of visitors each year.
7. If your company donates products/services for our Charity Auction, your company will be advertised in Web and e-mail auction promotions, as well as being advertised at the Auction.
8. Your company will receive two free “Season Tickets” to watch your sponsored team in all regular season home games.

Your company can sponsor several planned events including the popular Cary Pop Warner Pep Rally, Flag Bowl, Mitey Mite Bowl, Punt Pass & Kick Competition, and the John Nelli Memorial Invitational Bowl.
